Title
Little Bowden Church
Description
Little Bowden Church, 1900-1910. This image is a copy photograph of a postcard showing a rural scene in Little Bowden, with four boys fishing in the quaintly-named River Jordan and the church of St. Nicholas in the background. The course of the river was changed and a road was built to connect Rectory Lane with Scotland Road. The village was part of the scatter of early medieval settlements centred on Great Bowden.
