Title
L2441 - Lutterworth Station, Leicestershire
Description
L2441 - Photographed around 1899, this is the completed Great Central station at Lutterworth. As with all but three stations on the Last Main Line, Lutterworth was built to an 'island' layout designed by Alexander Ross. Conceived to help facilitate any future expansion of the railway, this design allowed the tracks to pass either side of a central platform.
