Description
L2448 - Photographed around 1897, this is the Great Central station bridge at Swithland, Leicestershire. Despite the bridge's construction, however, a station was never actually built on the site. Had there been a Swithland Station, passengers would have reached the platform via a staircase rising from the brick archway at the centre of the picture.
