Title
L2466 - Girder occupation bridge near Bulwell, Nottinghamshire
Description
L2466 - This handsome girder underbridge - complete with a typical lattice work iron parapet - was built near Bulwell Hall, Nottinghamshire. In common with the countless other occupation bridges built on the London Extension, it was constructed to provide a farmer with access to land dissected by the Great Central's embankment. Logan & Hemingway was the firm contracted to build this section of the Line (Annesley to Leake).
