Title
L2481 - Building the station at Bulwell Common, Nottinghamshire
Description
L2481 - This photograph was captured at the site of Bulwell Common Station, Nottinghamshire. When completed, passengers would reach the station's single 'island' platform by means of a covered staircase leading down from the centre of this girder overbridge (bridge 273). It is interesting to note that even at this early stage in the Railway's construction (October 1896), a line of permanent way has already been laid.
