L2311 - This huge wooden bridge centring is thought to have been photographed near Denham during construction of the Great Western & Great Central Joint Line. Sitting beside this impressive timber frame are some of the enormous quantity of bricks that would be required to create the viaduct's arch. Pauling & Co. of Westminster was the firm contracted to build this section of the Joint Line (High Wycombe to Northolt).
