Side view of woman's Liberty "Grace" brassiere of 1953, in nylon with the patented "Nulift" feature, which allowed for self-adjustment of the bust.

This feature consisted of a specially designed front section made from nylon and elastic. The section was partly separated from the cups, allowing for self-adjustment of the bust. Its elastic straps were also designed to control the diaphragm.

The upper cups of the bra are made from nylon voile. The garment features wide, adjustable ribbon shoulder straps and is fastened at the back with elastic and hooks and eyes.
