Title
L2336 - Girder overbridge and permanent way near Wolfhampcote
Description
L2336 - Photographed around 1898, a girder overbridge with straight wing walls and brick parapet spans the newly laid tracks of the permanent way near Wolfhampcote, Warwickshire. With the cutting dressed and the ballast piled on the trackbed ready to be swept over the sleepers, this part of the Line would soon be ready for traffic. Thomas Oliver & Son was the firm contracted to build this section of the Railway (Contract No.4, Rugby to Woodford).
