A view across High Cross St in Leicester, from the corner of Town Hall Lane (now Guildhall Lane) to Thornton Lane opposite. The pub is the Golden Lion. All these buildings (save the curved front on the right) have since been demolished. This area is now Jubilee Square.

This pencil drawing is signed G.S. Catlow, who was the art master at Wyggeston Boys' School.
