Title
L2365 - Great Central girder bridge in Hampstead
Description
L2365 - Photographed around 1897, this is the Great Central's plate girder underbridge that carried the Last Main Line over the London & North Western Railway at Hampstead, London. Visible on the right of the picture is the blurred form of a passing locomotive. J.T. Firbank of London Bridge was the firm contracted to build this, the shortest section of the London Extension (Contract No. 7).
