Title
L2377 - Woodhead Station, Cheshire
Description
L2377 - The River Etherow winds its way along the valley, passing beneath the Great Central bridge at Woodhead Station. Taken in May 1903, the photograph is a testament to the tireless endeavours of the Victorian railway companies, and to their refusal to let natural obstacles stand in the way of rail expansion.
