Description
L2382 - Two men at work near Wembley Hill measure the width of a shallow cutting stripped of turf, photographed during construction of the Neasden to Northolt line. A number of fully laden wagons are poised to remove the spoil. Built by T. Oliver & Son between 1901-05, the Neasden line connected the Great Western & Great Central Joint Railway with the Metropolitan & Great Central line; the London Extension's first route into the capital.
