Title
L2386 - Temporary wooden footbridge near Harrow
Description
L2386 - A temporary wooden footbridge spans a roughly hewn cutting and contractor's railway near Harrow, photographed during construction of the Neasden to Northolt line, circa 1903. These muddy slopes would later be dressed to form a more shallow, even gradient. Built by T. Oliver & Son between 1901-05, the Neasden line connected the Great Western & Great Central Joint Railway with the existing Metropolitan & Great Central route.
