Hodson Family Wedding June 1902
Description
On Tuesday, 3 June 1902 at Thorpe Acre, Dinah Porter second daughter of Dinah and William Porter, farmer of Dishley Grange married George Albert Hodson, third son of Lucy and George Hodson of Loughborough. The wedding was extensively written up in the Loughborough Herald and North Leicestershire Gazette.

George Albert went to Loughborough Grammar School and then joined the family brick business, later known as Hathernware Ltd. He eventually became its chairman and managing director. The form was famous for its terracotta, used as facings for large buildings, including the Wrigley Building in Chicago.
