Title
L2241 - Girder bridge crossing the permanent way
Description
L2241 - This handsome structure is thought to be crossing the permanent way of the Great Central's Last Main Line. The bridge is somewhat unusual in that brick arches have been built either side of the central girder span. Visible beyond are the handrails of an occupation crossing, and another girder overbridge, this one built to a more conventional design.
