Title
L3150 - Brick arch bridge near Beaconsfield
Description
L3150 - A handsome three arch brick overbridge spans a very steep cutting near Beaconsfield, photographed around 1903 during construction of the Great Western & Great Central Joint Railway. With the ballast laid and the trackbed prepared, this section of contractor's temporary railway would soon be replaced with the permanent main line metals. Pauling & Co. of Westminster was the firm responsible for work on this stretch of the Joint line (Northolt to High Wycombe).
