Title
L3164 - New viaduct under construction at High Wycombe.
Description
L3164 - Although the Great Western & Great Central joint line (or the Alternative Route as it was known) was basically a revamp of the old GWR Birmingham line, it did require a number of new structures to be built in order to widen the formation. Here we can see the new, four-arched, brick viaduct under construction at High Wycombe as a blurred train flies by on the old GWR line. Note the wooden centrings in the viaduct arches. Date circa 1903.
