The Blue Boar Hotel once stood in Southgates, Leicester city centre. The hotel was built as a replacement to the Blue Boar Inn, which stood on the corner of Highcross Street and Blue Boar Lane. The original Blue Boar Inn was famously the inn where Richard III stayed prior to the Battle of Bosworth.
