Raw Dykes is the remains of Roman earthworks that supplied Leicester (then Ratae Corieltauvorum) with water. The earthworks consist of a ditch and two banks, which channelled the water into the city. The originally earthwork was 500m+ in length, but today only a 110m section survives.
