The Cliffe Hill mineral railway was a 2 ft (610 mm) narrow gauge industrial railway that connected Cliffe Hill granite quarry in Bardon, NW Leicestershire, to the nearby London Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) between Leicester and Coalville. The line opened in 1896 and operated until 1948.
There were 15 locomotive engines. There were two named Jack, both built by W. G. Bagnall. One was built 1901 and sold in 1916. The other was built in 1915 and scrapped in 1957.
