A schoolboy from Alderman Newton School poses for a photo. The pupils were nicknamed the 'Green Cock Boys', on account of their peacock green school jackets. The school closed in 1999. Alderman Newton- the founder of the school- is one of the four statues present on the Clock Tower in Leicester City Centre.
