Building Work At The Royal Hotel
Description
Scaffolding and construction workers on façade of building, adjacent to "The Royal Hotel"
1/4 Glass plate negative
GP2565
Negatives Collection, Leicester County Council
The Royal Hotel once stood in Horsefair Street, Leicester city centre. The hotel no longer exists; the building on the right of the photograph is now a bank, and the building with the scaffolding a betting shop. The Royal Hotel carved sign is still in place above the bookies and the bank.
