Negatives Collection, Leicestershire Record Office

St Paul's Church in Woodhouse Eaves was originally built 1836-1837, and designed by William Railton (the designer of Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square). The chancel was added in 1871 and the transepts in 1880.

The dramatic rocks in the foreground are the granite rocks well known through NW Leicestershire.
