Description
Found at Thurmaston, Leicestershire. A large Anglo-Saxon cremation cemetery was found at Thurmaston during the construction of bungalows in the 1950s. Cremation urns were used to contain cremated human remains for burial. Urn is biconical, bossed and decorated with impressed, incised finger-tip decoration.
