Description
From a demolished cottage in Hugglescote, Leicestershire. The Medieval cottage dated from 1583 and was demolished in 1956. Some restoration took place in 1913 including the laying of floor tiles. Originally a stream flowed close to the cottage. This was diverted and the floor was laid at some point. Made in Stoke on Trent.
