Ashley and Weston station opened in 1950 on the Rugby and Stamford Railway. It was originally called Medbourne Bridge. It passed through ownership of the London and North Western Railway, London, Midland and Scottish Railway, then London Midland Region. It closed to passengers on 18th June 1951 and then completely in 1952.
