L3362. This three arch brick overbridge spans contractors railways in a deep cutting. Men in the background are systematically a laying a white substance on the walls of the cutting. The purpose of this is something of a mystery, although one possibility could be that it is chalk to inhibit growth of plants which would have to be cut back.
