Title
L3357 - Old and new single lines running parallel in Saunderton, Buckinghamshire
Description
These single line tracks follow the same route through Saunderton in Buckinghamshire. However the one to the right lies in a fresh cutting, and is a more recent addition. The older track was presumably laid down and used by the Great Western Railway, whilst the newer provides an example of additional tracks constructed by the Great Central Railway after the collaborative agreement between the two companies.
Note how the old and new bridges for both of the lines have been built onto one another.
