Medieval silver finger ring
Description
Silver finger ring with three roundels each containing a cross motif with Niello (now grey) inlay.

An interesting ring with three circular bezels each containing a cross motif surrounded by niello (black enamel like material). The ring is obviously religious with the use of three crosses (the trinity) and may also be a mourning ring. From Long Whatton, North West Leicestershire.
