Title
Anglo-Saxon Silver Pin
Description
AD 600-800
This is a classic Anglo-Saxon pin with a cubed head from Claybrooke, Harborough. The fact that it is solid silver marks it out as special. It would have been made for a wealthy woman as she would have worn at least two, probably to hold her headdress in place.
