Description
Green glazed jug of medieval date (14th-15th century)

Green glazed jug of medieval date (14th-15th century), squat profile, complete, chip out of lip. Grey core, orange-brown surfaces mostly covered in mid-green glaze with dark green mottling. One handle, with 4 pierced holes in upper face. 4 horizontal grooves around body from shoulder to girth. Illustrated in B Rackham "English Medieval Pottery".
