This bellcote graces the top of St Mary's Church in Lower Swell, Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire. The bellcote was rebuilt as a memorial to the Rev. David Royce, the church's rector from 1850- 1901, who was an enthusiastic amateur archaeologist and antiquary.
