Title
L2263 - Girder occupation underbridge near Wotton Underwood, Buckinghamshire
Description
L2263 - Small girder occupation underbridge with wide splayed wing walls, built to take the Great Western & Great Central Joint Line over a farm track near Wotton Underwood. The Joint Railway was constructed between 1901-1905, and it supplied the Great Central with a line into London which was faster than the original route provided by the Company's affiliation with the Metropolitan Railway. Even after the Joint Line was completed however, the Company's trains continued to enter the capital via both routes.
