Description
L2285 - This is the station building on Akeman Street, near Woodham, Buckinghamshire. The section of railway passing over the girder bridge ran between Grendon Underwood and Princes Risborough. This line connected the existing Metropolitan & Great Central route with the Great Western & Great Central Joint Railway, the latter being built between 1901-05 to provide the Last Main Line with an alternative route into London.
