Title
L2290 - Girder underbridge at the site of Akeman Street Station, Buckinghamshire
Description
L2290 - This is the plate girder underbridge that carried the Great Central line across Akeman Street, near Woodham, Buckinghamshire. A station building was later constructed beside the embankment on the other side of the bridge. The contractor responsible for building this section of the Great Western & Great Central Joint Line (Grendon Underwood to Princes Risborough) was Louis P. Nott.
