Title
L1868 - Girder overbridge and permanent way near Loughborough
Description
L1868 - Looking north along the permanent way at the completed skew girder overbridge (No. 337) built to take the Leicester Road (now the A6) across the Last Main Line near Loughborough. The brick arch structure beyond is bridge No. 336. Before this section of the railway was opened for traffic, a layer of ballast would have been packed over the sleepers.
