Description
L1867 - Skew girder overbridge (No. 337) built to carry the Loughborough to Leicester Road (now the A6) across the London Extension, photographed around 1897. Passing under the bridge is a line of contractor's temporary railway, laid to ferry men, materials and machinery along the route under construction. Henry Lovatt & Co. of Wolverhampton was the firm responsible for building this section of the Line.
