L1677 - Brick arch overbridge spanning a shallow cutting near Twyford, Buckinghamshire, circa 1897. This single line of poorly laid contractor's rails would later be replaced with the twin tracks of the permanent way. Walter Scott & Co. of Newcastle upon Tyne was the contractor responsible for building this section of the Last Main Line (Contract No.6, Brackley to Quainton Road).
