Description
L1707 - Girder occupation underbridge north of Calvert, Twyford, Buckinghamshire, circa 1897. Bridges such as this were built to provide farmers with access to their land. The identity of the man standing on the fence is unknown. Walter Scott & Co. of Newcastle upon Tyne was the contractor who built this section of the Line (Contract No.6, Brackley to Quainton Road).
