Description
L1604 - Construction of the girder underbridge near Abbey Park, Leicester, circa 1897. The bridge's lattice work iron parapet is a typical feature of the London Extension. Henry Lovatt of Wolverhampton was the contractor responsible for building this part of the Last Main Line (Contract No.2 Leake to Aylestone).
