L1608 - Three arch brick occupation overbridge No.336 'just north of Leicester Road', Loughborough, Leicestershire (S.W.A. Newton's notes). With the permanent way laid and the cutting dressed, this section of the line appears to be almost ready for traffic. Henry Lovatt of Wolverhampton was the contractor who built this part of the London Extension (Contract No.2, Leake to Aylestone).
