Description
L1612 - Great Central Railway's girder underbridge, close to the Midland Railway's station, 'Railway Terrace, Loughborough', Leicestershire (S.W.A. Newton's notes). The iron lattice work parapet is a typical feature of the Last Main Line. This section of the Railway (Contract No.2, Leake to Aylestone) was built by Henry Lovatt of Wolverhampton between 1894 -1899.
