Title
l3369 - Brick arch overbridge spanning tracks near completion in Buckinghamshire
Description
L3369 - The three arch brick overbridge in the foreground is echoed further down the line by an identical structure. A workman's hut stands just beyond the first, to the right of the tracks. Further down the line, in front of the second bridge is a signal gantry to the left, and signal or contractors box to the right. Through the right hand arch of the bridge tipping wagons can be seen travelling (on a contractor's line) along the top of the embankment. These will have offloaded gravel down the cutting walls, partly for aesthetic purposes, and also to prevent the growth of shrubbery which would need to be cut back out of the way of tracks.
