Description
L3395 - This picture shows preparation for the new Great Central and Great Western Joint line between Beaconsfield and High Wycombe. A wide, rough cutting has not yet been levelled and secured. One contractor's railway runs into the south end of Loudwater tunnel, the facade of which has yet to be put in place. Another temporary line climbs along the top of the right cutting wall above the tunnel.
