L1439 - Three arch brick overbridge near Woodford, Northamptonshire, circa 1897. The tracks in the foreground are the permanent way, and another line of track to the left of these rails has yet to be laid. The large rocks on the right of the photograph would later be broken up to provide the ballast. This section of the London Extension (Contract No. 5 Woodford to Brackley) was built by Walter Scott & Co. of Newcastle upon Tyne.
