Title
L3390 - Widening of the route through Buckinghamshire
Description
L3390 - This two arch brick overbridge carried the Chearsley to Long Crendon Road in Buckinghamshire over the Great Central and Great Western Joint Railway in Buckinghamshire. Work taking place beneath the bridge appears to be part of the scheme of widening operations put into place after the collaborative agreement made by the two companies. The right hand cutting wall is covered with grass, indicating it has been in place for some time, whereas piles of earth to the left of the cutting show that it is being extended in this direction. It follows that tracks to the right lie in the position of the original trackbed (although they themselves are replacements), and the additional track will be laid to its left.
