Title
L1454 - Girder underbridge, Lutterworth, Leicestershire
Description
L1454 - Girder underbridge south of Lutterworth Station, Leicestershire, circa 1897. Note the lattice iron work on the bridge's parapet; a common Great Central feature. The 'kissing gate' at the head of the path which leads down underneath the Railway is however, untypical. Topham, Jones & Railton was the contractor responsible for building this section of the Line (Contract No. 3, Aylestone to Rugby).
