Title
L3418 - Blind Lane junction and Signal Box
Description
L3418 - This photograph shows a junction between double and quadruple tracks. The wooden nameplate on the signal box to the left of the lines pinpoints the location to Blind Lane - a point between Sudbury & Harrow Road and Wembley Hill Stations on the Neasden to Northolt line. Despite the presence of construction materials the line looks ready to receive passenger and freight services. Equipment for the operation of points and signals in the area was housed in the signal box, a structure which can now be seen at Rothley on the Great Central preserved section.
