Title
L3415 - Girder bridge and Navvies on the Neasden to Northolt Line.
Description
L3415 - This lattice girder bridge was designed to carry the Great Central Railway's Neasden to Northolt Line over London and North Western Railway's main line. Construction of the bridge itself appears complete at the time the photo was taken, but the two tracks which ran over it had yet to be laid. A group of navvies on the right of the bridge may well be occupied with this task as one of their number (far right) takes a break to pose somewhat precariously for Newton. Four tracks are in place on the lower level LNWR line.
