Title
L3302 - Three arch viaduct near Denham, Buckinghamshire
Description
L3302 - This three arch viaduct is located near Denham in Buckinghamshire, on the Great Western & Great Central Joint line. It was built to carry the railway over the River Colne, and is unusual in that that the arch over the river is wider than the other two. Note the protrusion in the viaduct parapet - this was a recess for gangers and platelayers, and allowed them to step clear of the tracks when trains approached.
